Is Dodie Clark still Single?Who is she Dating Currently?Know her Affairs and Relationships
I don't know E: Let's find out D: How do we know each other?
That youtube party D: I met you at youtube and I though you were 40 years old E: I met you at youtube and I thought you were really cute E: Do you want an umbrella for your [singing] shaaaaade! We just went over that E: I thought she was pretty cute, and her username was really lame E: Doddleoddle, what is that?
How long did it take for you guys to become friends? Well we were kind of like on and off friends D: And then we did, and we were best friends E: Yeah, I think it was after that we did that, we did that road trip. A lot of bonding there. Should I just open a book? She never closes the lid on the sugar D: You never wash up after yourself, you just leave it D: You just look past everything in the fridge like a blind person E: There's nothing in the fridge!
We never have food D: There's so much stuff! With the toothpaste, what Dodie will do, is squeeze it all the way to the bottom, and then leave the freaking lid open so it crusts over E: And you try to squeeze it out, it's like [acts out toothpaste coming out] D: You hoard loo rolls toilet paper and toothpaste so you don't have to share any, and I run out D: I'm like "Evan please" and he's like "No!

I buy my own toothpaste and loo roll, and I hide it E: You know the loo roll's just been in a place where it's too tall for you to get D: Oh my God, I hate you E: It's been up there [pointing] D: You're so mean E: You know what's good?
When Dodie and I move out, we both have dishwashers D: We don't really argue about much else D: Yeah like that wasn't a lot E: It's just the small things E: What is one thing that really bothers you that your roommate does? Besides the sugar, it's very a small thing D: When I'm not in the mood, it's those little jokes E: I'll say something that's like slightly related to something else and I just know you'll make a joke D: Like for example today, I think I said "bridges" E: I was talking about E: Oh her song bridges D: Like the bridges in my songs D: You just went E: That I'll definitely hear E: The jokes are for me E: Because I think they're funny E: What annoys me about you is that you never laugh at my jokes E: Sometimes you just go "that's very funny" [straight face] E: I get upset when you put your boots in the living room, only because you have 10, pairs of boots E: And so sometimes when I'm walking around, I literally go from boot to boot E: Oh, I'm switching, oh how many shoes am I gonna wear today?
It's quite crazy E: Yes, of course D: Yeah haven't you seen our tutorials E: Yes, I love makeup E: Just two videos ago, I mean come on, fake fans E: No, it's fine, it's good D: I'm very impressed that you've kept up E: I thought you were going to say, "I'm very impressed people actually watch it" D: I've seen you work really hard to get a video out every single week D: And it's really weird to see that behind the scenes D: People ask me like how I do it E: It's because I always have at least a certain amount of time in the week for youtube E: No matter what E: So I have to make sure I do this so I can have a video up D: No matter what happens, you'll have a video up E: I love everything you do on your youtube channel E: And I tell many people about it just because I love your songs so much E: And when people are like "oh what does she do?
And I'm like "Oh my God, she makes such good songs, and her lyrics are so good, and the melodies are so catchy" E: And like this one song "She" she made was just amazing E: I'm like your number one fan D: I am the "Dodie Trash 1" E: Fight me [to viewers] E: Although you'll take like five hours to get ready to do a Youtube video E: I'll take very quickly to get ready, but as soon as it comes to filming, it took me like an hour and a half for this E: Because I have to have the framing exactly right and the lighting E: There's like a light over there, there's lights here, we have the fairy lights E: Those guys need to not be leaning E: Snorlax, what are you doing mate?
Snorlax is leaning over there E: So, just gotta make sure everything When we were gonna move in, we were like "yeah we're clean! A studio was set up in New York through which dozens of artists passed. Advertising work would often be passed around various artists with Adams and Giordano inking the main figures. This team effort was often credited to the "Crusty Bunkers", including numerous inking jobs for DC Comics, in the period Adams was also the art director and costume designer for Warp!
By the late s, Adams was almost invisible at DC or Marvel due, he said, to the introduction of a Work-For-Hire contract which he considered to be "against the intent of the new copyright law. The Guild, says Adams, achieved many of its aims.
It starred Adams, his children Jason and Zeea and comic personalities Gray Morrow and Denys Cowan and told the story of two children who protect an invention of their father's from crooks with the aid of a toy monkey.
In the s, Adams was tempted back into comics and produced Ms. Mystic and Skateman for Pacific Comics, the latter lasting only a single issue which was cited as the worst single comic of the past 25 years by Kitchen Sink Press's World's Worst Comics Awards Mystic, a witch in the modern world, appeared only twice from Pacific before transferring to Adams' own company, Continuity Comics in Continuiuty entered the superhero market with ArmorRevengersToyboySamureeZero PatrolMs.
MysticUrth 4 and Megalith A relaunch saw a number of series revert to issue one and new titles appear, the Continuity line-up now including Armor, Cyberrad, Earth, Hybrids, Megalith and Ms. Continuity were caught up in the collapse of the speculative comics' boom in part-way through a company-wide crossover.
She showed up the night before our ATV excursion, at a party thrown by the nephew of the recently departed, year-old Miriam Hoover, widow of the former president and CEO of Hoover Vacuum. The party was on a large deck behind a cottage the nephew has remodeled into a beautiful home.
It was strange to tour it, for my family stayed there in the s for two summers, renting from the Hoovers. Back then it was a rustic cottage with bats upstairs and an outhouse for a bathroom. Water came from a pump, and night light from kerosene lanterns. There were all sorts of familiar faces at that Saturday gathering: Wendy is the local school teacher, who this year will have two students when classes start in the one-room island schoolhouse on Sept.
And there was the visiting minister, Philip Chester of England, whose birthday prompted the celebration; and various of the elderly islanders I tend to see each year, folks who have cottages that they have been inhabiting during summers here for decades. It has been good reconnecting with all of them, but I have felt a little guilty, what with all hell breaking loose back home. An ugly storm, of course, brought flooding and tremendous damage on Lodi and Valois Points and to parts of Peach Orchard Point; and plenty of flooding elsewhere in the area, from the west hill of Watkins to the outskirts of Montour Falls and beyond.
Blessedly, we escaped any damage at my home in Odessa, overseen in my absence by son Jon. And I was ostensibly relaxing through some disquieting deaths back home -- of Tom Moran of Odessa, like me a sports card collector and all-around friendly guy; of Timateo Kamanga, whose violent death by vehicle while walking in Hector was reported to me rather quickly, sending me into a mild depression; and of Bill Elkins, a wonderful guy who meant a lot to Schuyler County for a lot of years.
And with all the angst caused by the storm and death, there was angst -- from what I hear -- caused by the proposed Business Improvement District in Watkins Glen, by the struggle by the village to counteract the negative effects of short-term Airbnb rentals, and then by the decision by Village Board member Kevin Thornton to depart his seat seven months early. He did so in a sort of scorched earth fashion, taking to task the spotty communication among board members and between the board and the community, as well as the project selection in the Downtown Revitalization Initiative promulgated by the state.
Yes, all of that angst has been going on, as well as some family issues that have occupied a bit of phone attention. I hope to tackle another ATV ride, to travel again into the depths of the island woods and witness again some of the inland marvels. About two thirds of the way back, heading south, there is a marker, the number 20, which connotes one of the island attractions -- the remains of three cabins that many believe housed the gangster John Dillinger and his gang while he was recovering from plastic surgery designed to help him escape the law.
In the main cabin, which is only three logs high now, the entrance is still identifiable, on the Firetower Road side. Step through that opening at the right time -- which is to say sunset -- and you just might encounter Dillinger himself, or rather what I take to be his spirit, inhabiting a complete cabin on that very site. Deer Lake, located on the northern side of the island, has a low water table. A girl fishes off the end of the Lake Mary dock. At the Saturday party.
Sally Sperry and Bruce McAfee head back toward the deep woods after a break along a trail turnoff. Timateo Kamanga is dead, struck by a vehicle while walking along Route in Hector Saturday night, around 10 p. Police are investigating, and the facts are largely unknown, other than that the driver has been identified. I remember him as a young man with a ready smile; he enjoyed other people, and especially enjoyed being in this country.
I recall him telling me in high school that he was returning to Malawi after graduation, but wanted to come back for college, which he did -- earning a couple of associate's degrees and a bachelor's.
Over the years, I encountered him from time to time around Schuyler County, and he would greet me with his wide smile and, with a light accent, say my name with an emphasis on the second syllable. I sit here at my keyboard remembering him; but in particular that smile.
I imagine I could conjure up a few more specifics -- but overriding it all would be the memory of that smile.
The heart that no longer beats. Marie Fitzsimmons, who with husband Kirk Peters served as the host to Timateo during his exchange year. She was teaching at Watkins Glen High School at that time. I contacted her after finding an entry on her Facebook page regarding his passing. His journey began with the Watkins Glen High School Interact Club, Rotary Club and a dream that Nancy Loughlin then a guidance counselor at the school and my beloved students turned into reality.
This is the boy who came to live in our Hector home and became a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin. And a beloved member of our school community. August 25 at Damiani Wine Cellars.
A private burial will take place at the Seneca Union Cemetery. Rotary was so generous. She listened thoughtfully as I agonized over exchange programs being so remarkable -- but out of reach for young people without family resources. And as she always did, she began the work to make a dream into a reality.

As she worked with Rotary, the Malawi Children's Village unfolded as our partner. Interact kids raised the money for plane fare and such. Rotary took care of other financial needs.
